Proton Holdings Bhd, first 25 units of Proton Satria Neo produce his new R3 Racing Lotus Edition.
Its managing director Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir said the national carmaker been received on 11 Bookings for the model.
"This car was is specifically designed for Formula One Team Lotus remember our intention to do so in a limited edition," he told reporters after the model of proton adviser Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was launched here today.
"Initially we will produce 25 units, in line with our celebrations of the anniversary of 25 years," he said.
Syed Zainal Abidin said Proton Satria Neo, the volume of the Lotus racing R 3 would increase circulation, if the model has received a good response.
The company also said plans to export the model from Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia.
Inspired by the spirit of the Lotus Racing, the car is a Proton rocket motor race proven 1.6-liter Campro CPS powered and playback of R3 for more power and torque with the help of the system management engine camshaft performance, carbon fiber air intake and exhaust Titanium header.
The Satria Neo R3 Edition Lotus Racing is currently available at RM115, 000 €.
R3, which is for Race, Rally and Research, division of Proton Motorsports is specialized in research, development and production of racing cars and performance parts.
