Satria Neo R3 Lotus proud of Lotus tradition

We want to Lotus for many reasons. Yes, the thought sends to the way light heaths with more grip than power all of our hearts trembled, but there are other reasons to be produced by the British company. Like the way the engineers get bored and decides to turn to a vehicle or pedestrians in a missile by the Bank. Cars like the Dodge Spirit R / T and Isuzu I-Mark have all received a healthy dollop of Lotus, and now it seems that Proton Satria Neo can count themselves among the fortunate souls.

Under normal circumstances, shares of Malaysia Neo DNA behavior with wet cardboard, try the new Lotus Neo R3 Racing to cure Edition for all. Öhlins adjustable (replace!) Coilover suspension bits has, making the car a little more grip in the corners, with some major development of the chassis. Lotus has also thrown AP Racing (!) Caps four pot front and a set of alloys on the four corners. Power 1.6-liter four-cylinder with 145 hp is pushed, the more the neo get revised to 62 in just over nine seconds. Did we mention he has Racing Stripes on their carbon fiber hood? Yes, really.

If you are wondering, how did all this madness, remember that Proton has a majority stake in the British manufacturer of sports cars and technology since 1996. We suspect that the traditional colors of Lotus race would have been otherwise off-limits, say, Perodua.

Of 115,000 Malaysian Ringgit (approximately $ 35,500 USD), the R3 Satria Neo only 25 copies in honor of the 25th Anniversary of the company are limited.
